← Back to homeEasy App Tools (“we”, “us”, or “our”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Ai Cleaner - Phone Cleaner (“Ai Cleaner”, “the app”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Connecting a Google account is optional. It is used for one feature only: storing and restoring a backup of your contacts.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This scope grants access
only to the files the app itself creates in your Google Drive. The app cannot read, list or
modify any other document, photo or file already in your Drive. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Permissions we use
Ai Cleaner requests only the permissions it needs in order to work. Each permission is described below together with the purpose it serves. If you decline a permission, the rest of the app continues to work and only the feature that depends on it becomes unavailable.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Used to show notifications, so the app can
keep you informed about tasks that run in the background, such as a backup or a restore, and about important
information related to the app.
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Used on older Android versions to read
the photos, videos and files stored on your device, so the app can analyse them and identify what is taking up space.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Used on older Android versions to act on
the items you have selected, so the app can move them to its Trash, delete them, or put them back when you restore them.
android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Ai Cleaner is a storage-cleaning utility
and this permission is essential to its core purpose. It is used to examine the storage on your device as a whole and
to act on the items you select, including documents, archives, installers and other file types that standard media
permissions do not cover. You grant this permission yourself on an Android system settings screen and you can withdraw
it at any time in your device settings.
android.permission.READ_CALENDAR — Used to read the events in your calendars, so the
app can identify past events that are no longer needed and present them to you for review.
android.permission.WRITE_CALENDAR — Used to remove the calendar events you have
selected for cleanup. Only the events you choose are affected.
android.permission.READ_CONTACTS — Used to read your contact list, so the app can
identify duplicate and incomplete entries, show them to you for review, and create backups of your contacts.
android.permission.WRITE_CONTACTS — Used to act on the contacts you have selected, so
the app can delete or merge them, save changes you have made, and add contacts back to your address book when you
restore a backup.
android.permission.INTERNET — Used to connect to the internet, so the app can display
advertisements, load remote settings, report crashes, measure app usage and installs, process in-app purchases, and
transfer backups to and from your Google Drive account.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Used to check whether your device is online
and what type of connection it is using, so the app can avoid starting a transfer that would fail and can pause one
when the connection is lost.
Everything the app reads in order to analyse your storage, your contacts and your calendar is processed on your device. Backups are stored on your device and in the Google Drive account you choose to connect, and are never copied to an Ai Cleaner server or shared with any third party. You can delete a backup and disconnect your Google account at any time from within the app.
The Google Play listing may show a few permissions that Ai Cleaner does not request itself. They are added automatically by the third-party libraries the app includes for advertising, analytics, billing and background tasks — for example advertising ID, Wi-Fi state, vibration, wake lock, install referrer, billing and phone state.
Ai Cleaner does not read your phone number, your device IMEI, your call log or your call state, and it cannot make phone calls.
